Player Systems (Back Tee Golf, Cashless Payment Systems)
Back Tee Golf (app.backteegolf.com) is the current system used for weekly games. The application allows members to view upcoming games, join a game, leave a game, view who is signed up for a game, and it also provides a live leaderboard for in-play golf. In addition to signing up for Backtee golf as a user, members should request to become a member of Maples Golf Club within the app. This allows members to receive important information specific to the club. The cost for the application is integrated into the weekly pot fee ($1 per player, per round).
Since COVID-19 provided reason to limit the contact between players, the club has gone cashless. Several benefits have been recognized since the cashless system has been in place, but this provides benefits to both club administration and members. Pot money requirements and winnings are managed in this manner.

The Maples Golf Club formally started in 2007, when it was deemed an official NCGA affiliate club. Kennedy Park (Napa) and Paradise Valley (Fairfield) were early courses frequented by the club, while Rancho Canada East/West were long time Maples Golf Club battlefields. Early members to the club were Roland Maples, Greg Isom, Furlee Mulazim, Eddie Holiday, Mike Henry, London Pope, Bijon Hughes, and Freddie Brown. The Maples Golf Club is arguably one of the most competitive golf clubs in existence. The club has been known to house “a bunch of ringers,” sparking fear in many who consider competing for the first time.
